2018 USA Powerlifting Oregon State Championships

Spectator Admission: $5 at the door for non-lifters over the age of 12.

Registration Deadline: Registration closes March 24, 2018, but this event will sell out in advance. Don't delay registering!

Prizes: In addition to product tosses, and door prizes, we'll give awards and prizes for the following categories.

Medals will be given to 1st – 3rd in each age and weight division in powerlifting, bench press, and deadlift.  Oregon residents and out of state lifters (guest lifters), will compete in separate categories.

One Male best lifter, and one Female best lifter will also be awarded a prize pack of goodies from our sponsors. 

Additionally, every lifter will receive a swag bag with their meet shirt, and a bunch of good stuff from our sponsors!

USAPL Membership: All lifters must be registered members of USA Powerlifting before the day of the event. See the link below to purchase your membership if need be.

Drug Testing:  You must be performance enhancing drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete.  At least 10% of all lifters at the meet will be tested by urinalysis.   Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones.  The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).

Raw or Equipped: This event is open to raw and equiped lifters.

Lifting Attire:  All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.

Nationals Qualifying:  This meet is a qualifying event for all 2018 USAPL national championship events.  See http://www.usapowerlifting.com/lifters-corner/qualifying-totals/ for more info about qualifying.

No qualification required... Great for first-time competitors!

Deadlift only: $75
Deadlift + Bench Press: $85
High School Power Lifting only: $60 (must be current High School student)

Team: $75 (1st-3rd place – all teams must be registered with USA Powerlifting).


We'll have 2 sessions, and makeup of those sessions will be determined based on entries. We'll finalize the schedule around 2 weeks before the meet.

Session 1 Check-in/Equipment Check: 6:45AM
Weigh-in: 7-8:30AM
Lifting: 9AM-1PM

Session 2 Check-in/Equipment Check: 12:00PM
Lifting: 2:30PM-7:30PM

The event site

Intrepid is a 5000sqft gym in NE PDX who's goal is to empower members of the Portland metropolitan community to achieve their health and fitness goals through our group  classes and personal training services.  They also offer strength and conditioning instruction, nutrition and lifestyle guidance, and information on mobility and recovery techniques.
