2019 USA Powerlifting Great NW Border Battle
PLEASE NOTE: There are separate items for WA lifters and OR lifters. Be sure to select the item for the correct state when registering.

When: Sunday January 26, 2020

Meet Directors: Tim & Jackie Mercer aka- Redbeard Barbell
Spectator Admission: $10 at the door for non-lifters over the age of 12.
Registration Deadline: Registration open’s October 5, 2019
Eligible Lifters: This meet is open to USA Powerlifting members from Oregon and Washington only. 30 spots available for each state, for a total of 60 lifters in the meet.
Prizes: In addition to product tosses, and door prizes, we'll award medals for all age/weight classes, and provide best lifter prizes for all categories with more than 5 lifters.
Additionally, we’ll be handing out the Great NW Border Battle Cup, to the state which wins. The winning state will have possession of the cup for a year, before the battle goes down again. State prizes awards based on the total IPF+Age points for the top 10 scores from each state.
Raw & Equipped: This event is for raw and equipped lifters competing in full-power, push/pull, or single lift events.
Registration Fee: Registration for this is event is $115.
USA Powerlifting Membership: All lifters must be registered members of USA Powerlifting before the day of the event. See the link below to purchase your membership if need be.
Drug Testing: You must be performance enhancing drug free for at least 36 months prior to the date of this meet to be eligible to compete. At least 10% of all lifters at the meet will be tested by urinalysis. Banned substances include but are not limited to anabolic steroids and growth hormones. The complete list of banned substances is available on the web site of the World Anti-Doping Agency (see www.WADA-ama.org).
Lifting Attire: All competitors must wear a one piece lifting suit or a wrestling singlet, shoes and a T-Shirt. All equipment must conform to USA Powerlifting rules. See www.USAPowerlifting.com for details.
Nationals Qualifying: This meet is a qualifying event for all 2020 USA Powerlifting Raw Nationals. See http://www.usapowerlifting.com/lifters-corner/qualifying-totals/ for more info about qualifying

Approx. LIFT SCHEDULE
We'll have 1 session, with 4 flights. Lifting should take around 8hrs, with the awards immediately following the conclusion of lifting.
